Herts County Championship Result
Below are the results from the Herts County Championships, held within the Luton Marathon
In line with county rules, runners were only eligible if
they ticked the box, and had entered before the closing date of the open race.
This year it was agreed with the Herts AAA Race Committee, that the Senior &
Veteran championships would be counted as independent races, hence a Veteran
would count in both separately.
I do not believe it is for me to check the validity of each
runner, as the club is only an indication, and does not mean that a person is
eligible or not. A runner is allowed to compete if they were born in
Hertfordshire, although it should be stated, that if a person chooses to run for
Hertfordshire on birth eligibility, then they are not also allowed to run for
the county they currently reside in!
